Terms of Service

You must be able to form a binding agreement to use ETS, and you must provide accurate information when you sign up. You are responsible for keeping that information current.

Keep your login credentials secure and do not share them. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

You agree not to:

• use ETS for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data;
• copy, resell, or reverse engineer the service; or
• invite people to your family workspace whom you do not actually know, or upload content you have no right to share.

The financial information you enter belongs to you. You grant HCL a limited license to store and process it solely to operate ETS and provide the features you use. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter.

ETS is an informational tool that helps you organize and understand your household finances. ETS is not a bank, does not hold or move money, and does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Any decisions you make based on information in ETS are your own.

ETS relies on trusted providers to operate, including hosting, database and authentication, and email delivery, and payment processing if paid plans launch. Your use of ETS may be subject to those providers' terms.

We may add, change, suspend, or remove features, and parts of ETS may be offered in beta. We aim to keep the service running smoothly but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

ETS is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans, the price and terms will be shown to you before you are charged.

You may stop using ETS at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use ETS in a way that could harm others or the service.

ETS is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HCL will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of ETS. [Liability cap and specifics to be confirmed.]

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the date above, and your continued use of ETS means you accept the updated Terms.
